Greetings from
chile

With over 100 internationally renowned speakers, Congreso Futuro is the most important scientific outreach event in Latin America and one of the most significant worldwide.

Today, we take a small step to bring the diverse perspectives, science, and knowledge that experts from many countries share on our platform to you and to the entire planet.

We aim to transform this gathering, this space for conversation, into a humble contribution to the development of all our societies and our species.

In 2024, we embark on this challenge by sharing a couple of featured lectures. In 2025, we aspire to offer much more, in your language and at your convenience.

Thank you for visiting us, and we hope you enjoy our content.

What is
congreso futuro?

What is
congreso futuro?

We are a free knowledge dissemination platform for science, technology, and art that has been held in Chile since 2011. In its various editions, it has allowed the ideas of over 1,000 speakers to be shared.

Organized by the Senate of Chile, the Encuentros del Futuro Foundation, the Chilean Academy of Sciences, and all universities in the country, we are a citizen space for dialogue and reflection on the social, cultural, and political issues that present-day society will face in the near future.

We bring together experts and opinion leaders at the national and international levels with civil society to promote knowledge through talks, conferences, panels, and discussions.
